Menu Card · Updated 22 September 2026
Menu Card is a menu editor and publishing service operated by Nikhil Reddy Avuthu. This policy covers the Menu Card Android app and the editor at cms.menucard.app, together with the account and menu data used to provide the service.
Information used by Menu Card
- Account information. Google sign-in provides your email address, Google account identifier, and basic profile information such as your name. Menu Card creates an account identifier and stores your access to menus so you can sign in and manage them. Menu Card does not receive your Google password.
- Store and menu content. We store the business name, description, city, area, address when provided, menu sections, item names, descriptions, prices, variants, dietary marks, availability, and display and publishing settings that you save.
- CSV imports. The editor reads and checks your selected CSV on your device. When you confirm an import, it sends the parsed menu items and sections to the service. The CSV file and its filename are not uploaded.
- Technical records. The API records requested URLs, browser or app information, response status, request timing, and errors for operation, troubleshooting, and security. URLs may contain account or menu identifiers. API request logs are configured for seven-day retention. Hosting providers also process connection information such as IP addresses to deliver the service.
- Support requests. If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you include so we can respond and handle your request.
Information stored on your device
The editor stores your sign-in token and account profile on your device to keep you signed in. It also stores temporary sign-in information, appearance and setup preferences, and identifiers that help avoid duplicate menu creation. Signing out removes the saved sign-in session from that browser or app. Clearing site or app data removes its local storage; it does not delete your server account.
Menu and QR images you choose to download or share are generated on your device. The current editor does not offer photo uploads or request access to your contacts, microphone, or device location.
Publishing and service providers
Menu content is used to create and display your menu. A public menu can be viewed by anyone and may be indexed by search engines. An unlisted menu can be viewed by anyone with its link. A private menu requires authorized access. Do not publish personal information you do not want customers to see.
Google provides sign-in, Fly.io hosts the menu API, and Netlify hosts the editor and public website. Data is processed by these services as needed to provide their functions. You can read their policies at Google, Fly.io, and Netlify. Production connections to the editor and API use HTTPS.
The current Menu Card editor does not include advertising, an advertising SDK, or a third-party analytics SDK. Operational server records are still processed as described above.
Retention and deletion
Account and menu data remain stored so the service can provide your account and menus. You can edit or remove individual menu items and sections in the editor. To request deletion of your account and associated data, follow the account deletion instructions. Signing out or uninstalling the app does not submit a deletion request.
The service uses database replicas and backup snapshots for recovery. Removing data from the active database does not immediately remove every backup copy. There is currently no fixed automatic expiry period for all backup copies. Backup handling is part of the support review of a deletion request; support will explain any data that must be retained, the reason, and the expected retention period before confirming completion.
